Football Season is Upon Us
Now that the Olympics are done, I can’t wait for football season to begin. Some people would say games are being played now but NFL exhibitions don’t count.
The collegiate regular season starts Thursday night, with plenty of additional games throughout Labor Day weekend. The NFL season begins a week from Thursday. It’s my favorite time of the year.
I like having enough games to be satiated during the week but not so many games each day that I feel overloaded. I much prefer a playoff system to the BCS system that rates polls far too much but I’ll talk more about the BCS as the season progresses.
I’m pleased to have won two prizes totaling $9 million in credit at Blog Shares for my posts about the Olympics last week.
Getting recognition is always great, whether one is a collegiate athlete, a blogger or a celebrity. I hope all of you have a great week.
