Sports 2000 Hosts Fantasy Football League

Published by xzchief at 8:04 pm under Football Edit This

Webb Simpson is atop the leaderboard at the midday point of the PGA Tour playoff opener in New Jersey. Simpson fired a second-round 68 and sits at eight-under par through 36 holes. Paul Goydos and Steve Marino are tied for second, two shots behind Simpson. Tiger Woods carded a one-over par 72 and is even for the tournament. He’s tied for 17th place.

Calgary (4-4) defeated host Toronto (2-6), 23-20, in a CFL game tonight. Paul Lawrie continues to lead the European Tour event in Scotland. Beth Bader is the first-round leader at the LPGA event in Oregon. Mark O’Meara leads after one day at the Champions Tour stop in Washington.

Sports 2000 will be hosting a free fantasy football league at Yahoo this season, the Global League. Click the link and enter the password world to join. There are 15 openings and there will be an autopick draft once all the spots are filled. Seems too difficult to arrange a live draft with 16 people.
